TAC

Had a transport accident? We can help you. All of our physios are registered with TAC.

We excel in helping clients with:

  • Whiplash injuries

  • Headaches

  • Lower back pain

  • Neck pain

  • Fractures

  • Other soft tissue injuries (hip, knee, shoulder, foot pain)

We aim to not only treat your pain, but also to restore function and prevent re-injury; in order to give you a long term solution, by using evidence based practice, outcome measures, and give you the tools you need.

Our Clinic Requires A Gap Payment

of the difference in total cost

For Each Appointment

Why do we charge a gap?

Because TAC claims require a lot of the physiotherapist’s time outside of treatment hours, we charge a gap payment of the difference in total cost per treatment session. Our priority is to give you exceptional outcomes. Charging a gap fee gives us the time to provide every bit of care other physios may not be able to offer.

We will manage your claim, liaise with your case manager, request ongoing or additional physiotherapy sessions when we deem they are appropriate, write up an Allied Health Treatment and Recovery Plan every 12 weeks on your progress, and complete detailed medical reports when needed.

A gap fee allows us the time to offer you a thorough assessment and management plan, follow up with your treatment outside of formal appointments, and align your physio treatment with treatment and opinions you may also receiving from other medical/allied health professionals.

What if my claim hasn’t been approved but I need immediate physiotherapy?

It can take a few weeks for a claim to be approved, so if you need to come in for physio treatment while you wait, please do! You will be required to pay for the sessions privately until your claim number comes through, but once it does, TAC will reimburse you for the costs of the sessions. TAC will not reimburse you if your claim is not approved.

If you believe your injury to be relating to TAC:

To allow us to process your TAC rebate, please provide the following details PRIOR to your appointment

  • Your TAC claim number

  • Your case manager's contact details (name, phone number, email)

  • Ensure that you have approval by TAC for physio treatment.
