Before booking an appointment please be aware of our cancellation policy.

At The Physio Doctor, our priority is to help you achieve meaningful, lasting improvements in your health through consistent, high-quality physiotherapy care. To provide the best possible service to all patients and ensure continuity of treatment, we require a mutual commitment to scheduled appointments.

Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. Maintaining regular attendance allows us to deliver effective treatment and helps you achieve your rehabilitation goals as efficiently as possible. Missed or frequently rescheduled appointments may delay your progress and impact treatment outcomes.

We genuinely care about your quality of life and getting you better, but understand understand that genuine emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can occur. In such cases, management may review cancellation fees at their discretion.

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we require a minimum of 24 business hours’ notice.
Business hours are defined as:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (excluding public holidays).

This notice period allows our team sufficient time to offer your appointment to another patient who may be experiencing pain or waiting for care.

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 business hours’ notice, or failure to attend a scheduled appointment, will incur a cancellation fee equal to the full cost of the scheduled service. This policy applies regardless of appointment reminders being received.

Appointment reminders are sent as a courtesy via SMS and email. However, it remains the patient’s responsibility to attend scheduled appointments or provide the required notice for any changes.

*WorkSafe & TAC clients will be responsible to cover any Cancellation Policy fees that incur.
