Senior Sports & Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist
Hi, I’m Heath
I’ve spent over 20 years working as a physiotherapist, and my career has been shaped by a lifelong involvement in sport, movement, and rehabilitation. I trained as a physiotherapist in South Africa and was drawn early on to high-performance sport, where I began working closely with competitive and elite athletes across multiple disciplines.
That path led to opportunities to work at the highest levels of international sport, including involvement with athletes at the Beijing Olympic Games and the Commonwealth Games, as well as across professional and national sporting programs. Working in these environments taught me the importance of precise assessment, smart load management, and structured return-to-
sport planning — lessons that continue to guide my clinical work today.
Alongside my professional experience, I’ve been an athlete for most of my life. Navigating my own injuries and rehabilitation has given me a deep appreciation of the physical and mental challenges that come with time away from sport, rebuilding capacity, and regaining confidence. I understand that returning to activity isn’t just about being pain-free — it’s about being sport-
fit again.
My career has taken me across South Africa, India, and Australia, working in both elite sport and clinical settings. Over time, my focus has expanded into musculoskeletal and orthopaedic physiotherapy, applying the same performance-driven principles to people from all walks of life — from competitive athletes to those simply wanting to stay active, strong, and mobile as they
age.
Registrations & Professional Standing
I am registered to practise physiotherapy in South Africa, India, and Australia, and am currently registered with AHPRA and the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
Areas of Focus
• Neck, back, and shoulder pain
• Sports and activity-related injuries
• Post-injury and post-surgical rehabilitation
• Strength, movement control, and return-to-sport planning
• Injury prevention and long-term movement resilience
My approach is calm, practical, and evidence-based, with a strong emphasis on education and movement understanding. I aim to help clients feel informed, confident, and actively involved in their recovery.
As I move through my own 40s and into my 50s, my personal goal is to move as well as I did in my 30s — and that philosophy strongly shapes how I work. Good physiotherapy, in my view, is about building bodies that can keep doing what they love for years to come

Holistic Physiotherapist and Movement Specialist
Hi, I’m Dr. Jillian!
I’m a neuro-physical therapist and biomechanist, passionate about helping people understand the language of their body by blending neurology, biomechanics, and Human Design*.
I have always been interested in the human body; and I knew from a very young age this is how I wanted to spend the rest of my life. I completed a Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy and biomechanics at California State University of San Marcos in 2009. After I received my degree, I worked with AFL teams including the Western Bulldogs, building my expertise in sports.
I went on to earn my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in California in 2013, solidifying my foundation in evidence-based practice and manual therapy.
